11.5.04, Blake Bodenmiller

The Following Was Written In Memory of Justin By a Good Friend,
Blake Bodenmiller:

To the family: Justin was a great teammate, friend, and I am glad I had the opportunity to spend time with him. Justin will never be forgotten and his memory will live in my heart forever. He could never be duplicated in any way, shape, or form. He was one in a million and will be missed dearly.

To Justin’s friends: I know what you are going through. The only difference is that I’m dealing with it 400 miles away. Don’t ever forget the good times you had with Justin. He wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

To Justin’s teammates: Every time you set foot on a baseball field, remember #26. Go wipe off home plate for old times sake and admire the view of the right field wall. Don’t look over the wall because we all know Justin only had “warning track power.” Sorry had to add some humor in there because I’m about to tear up. When you have kids someday (some of you might have them now but that’s ok) teach them the importance of being a team player and hard working. Make sure they are not catchers because there might be little Bodenmillers running around bouncing curveballs in the dirt. I KNOW SOMEDAY WE WILL ALL TAKE THE FIELD TOGETHER, PLAYING IN THE BALLPARK IN THE SKY. SEE YA AT THE PARK BIG MAC.
